City of Gahanna Celebrates Seeds For Sight Tree Planting on Earth Day

Join us on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 at the Seeds For Sight Tree Planting presented by Eye Columbus. Come together with Eye Columbus and Gahanna Parks & Recreation as we beautify Gahanna through community service. The morning will kick off at 8:30am at Woodside Green Park with Mayor Tom Kneeland welcoming the community volunteers, followed by a tree planting celebrating the Seeds for Sight partnership between Eye Columbus and Gahanna Parks & Recreation.

Seeds for Sight is part of the Give Back, Give Better program at Eye Columbus. For every pair of prescription eyeglasses purchased at any Eye Columbus location or in the online SHOP, Eye Columbus will in turn, plant a tree.

The new trees being planted this Earth Day at Woodside Green Park were funded by the Eye Columbus Seeds For Sight program. Join your community for the tree planting and a variety of other beautification projects (creation of a nature play area, trail cleanup, and more!)  We look forward to a great Earth Day giving back to the Gahanna community!
